Department Functions and Responsibilities
Office of the Chairman
  • Implements resolutions of the Board of Directors’ meeting and oversees the Company’s operation
Office of the CEO
  • Responsible for the planning, execution, control, and management of the Company’s annual objectives and business strategies
Office of Auditing
  • Provide assistance to the Board of Directors and management department responsible for the inspection and evaluation of the design and implementation of the internal control system, measurement of operational effectiveness and efficiency, and providing timely suggestions for improvement so as to ensure the internal control system functions effectively and to assist the Board and management department in fulfilling their responsibilities
Office of Business Planning
  • Provide assistance to company organization planning and important business objective setting, control, and analysis, and evaluate the feasibility of new business development and implement corporate risk management and process improvement
New Product Strategy Center
  • Monitor and analyze new product trend
  • Integrate and plan new product strategy

Occupational Safety and Health Office

  • Responsible for the planning and managing financial accounting, taxes, and operational accounting
Business Management Division
  • Assistance in planning, developing, and implementing the strategies of the Company to ensure that the organization can adapt to changes under different market conditions and maintain competitive advantages
  • Dedicated to improving internal processes and operating modes of the organization to enhance operating efficiency and benefit, including optimization of sales processes, reduction of procurement costs, and increase resource utilization rate
  • Responsible for supervising the actual implementation status of the organization and conduct performance evaluation and monitoring to ensure that the organization can achieve defined goals and indicators and adjust strategies and plans to achieve results as planned
Human Resource Management Division
  • Responsible for managing human resource and planning training and career development
  • Coordinate employee relationship and plan welfare affairs
Legal Affairs Division
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing patents and trademarks; investigating credit records and processing and managing legal matters

  • Responsible for maintaining work environment and making procurement of office equipment and supplies
Construction Department
  • Responsible for management and planning of retail store renovation projects and project quality control
Logistics Department
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of warehousing, processing, logistics, and delivery of products
Information Technology and Development Division
  • Responsible for the process planning and establishment of operating system
  • Perform assessment of information security, system stability, and risk
Retail Business Division
  • Responsible for setting operating policies, operations management, planning of business activities, execution of promotional events, and performance management for all retail stores including direct stores/ retail counters at telecom offices/ Chunghwa Telecom authorized stores
  • Plan and execute marketing events and promotions
  • Establish and adjust operational policies for retail stores and reviewing the execution quality
  • Plan training of professional skills for the retail store personnel
Channel Business Division
  • Responsible for promotions of dealership system, cross industry collaboration, special projects, Chunghwa Telecom’s mobile numbers and customers development business promotion
  • Plan and execute annual marketing events and promotions
  • Establish distribution website, conduct business on the platform, plan strategies, and develop business
Digital Channel Development Division
  • Responsible for the strategic planning, business development, and operation management of e-commerce

  • Responsible for the e-commerce cash flows and logistics planning/management/reconciliation for delivery and returns by suppliers and analysis and handling of customer problems

  • Responsible for introduction, procurement, sales, and marketing of home appliances

Accessory Division
  • Responsible for introduction, procurement, sales, and marketing of accessory products
Life and Health Products Division
  • Responsible for introduction, procurement, sales, and marketing of life and health supplements products
Customer Service Division
  • Responsible for after-sales service and management of the service centers nationwide
  • Provide after-sales service for all products and implement management of the Apple and Samsung authorized service centers
Customer Service Department
  • Responsible for handling customer complaints, communicating with all units, and reporting problems
